Coogi were made popular in the early 90's by The Late Great Notorious BIG also known as Biggie Smalls. They were also worn by Bill Cosby. Usually people that affiliate the coogis with Bill Cosby are usually saying it as an insult, being that Bill was a little bit older and wasnt a fashion God. But dont let those lames diss you, they were worn by ballers and Biggie and everybody who was in the know. Coogi went out of business for a while, but they are making a comeback as of late since the 90's fashion seems to be the new wave. Its evident in the movie "Dope". Rappers and cool people are still wearing the coogi sweaters. Everytme I pull out a coogi i always recieve praise and compliments, especially in NY. You will always fit in wit Coogi.
